Ingredients
- - 0.5 pound beef sirloin, very thinly sliced
- - 4 cups beef broth (low sodium)
- - 1 star anise
- - 1 small cinnamon stick
- - 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- - 2 servings rice noodles (approx. 100g)
- - 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- - Fresh Thai basil, cilantro, lime wedges, and chili slices for garnish
Instructions
- 1.Simmer broth with star anise and cinnamon for 10 minutes.
- 2.Add fish sauce and soy sauce. Remove spices.
- 3.Cook noodles according to package instructions.
- 4.Place beef slices in bowls with cooked noodles. Pour hot broth over to cook beef.
- 5.Top with sprouts, herbs, lime, and chili.
