This Dak Bulgogi recipe originally serves 1, so all ingredients have been scaled up by a factor of 2 to serve exactly 2 people. For example, 6 oz of chicken thigh is increased to 12 oz, and all other ingredients are proportionally doubled.

Ingredients
- - 4 cloves Garlic
- - ½ Onion
- - 2 teaspoons Sugar
- - 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- - 2 teaspoons Mirin
- - 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- - 350g of Chicken thigh (boneless, skinless)
- - Scallions and sesame seeds (For garnish)
Instructions
- 1.Mince the garlic and onions into small, fine pieces. Mix the rest of the marinade ingredients together thoroughly.
- 2.Trim off the excess fat from the chicken thigh and dip it in the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to fully seep through.
- 3.Cast Iron on Stovetop – Using a cast iron, cook the chicken for about 3–5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Spread the chicken evenly to ensure uniform cooking.
- 4.Air Fryer – Set the air fryer to 380°F and cook the chicken for about 18–20 minutes. Place the chicken in a single layer and flip halfway through.
- 5.Oven – Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the chicken on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- 6.Grill – Preheat the grill to 325–350°F and cook for about 5–6 minutes on each side.
